Districts continue to work on creative solutions to combat the teacher shortage. Due to the concern of the growing number of classroom filled by Emergency Certified Teachers, Creighton Human Resources Department is hosting an Alternative Pathways to Education event on September 18, 2019 from 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm in the Papago Gymnasium for Emergency Certified Teachers, Substitute Teachers and prospective teachers. Future teachers will have an opportunity to learn about certification requirements from a representative of the Arizona Department of Education (ADE). They will create action steps for their own plans with affinity groups and have an opportunity to meet personally with ADE approved universities and program representatives..

3:45 - Alternative Pathways to Certification-ADE representative
