I've heard that some districts will take the alternative contribution out of the employee compensation and that others will foot the bill on their own.
Can anyone shed any light on this?

Chris: I don't know that we have decided yet what to do, but I will see what I can find out and post here when I know something.

Chris:
The options different options that are up for consideration with us are 1.) Release all employees that qualify under ACR, 2.) Reduce the numbers step(s) on the salary schedule that would compensate for the proposed ACR percentage, and 3.) District absorbs the ACR percentage cost. We are seriously considering option #2.
