Education is always a front-burner issue in our fair state of Arizona.  That’s great news for the children we serve.  The legislature and governor are pursuing various educational agendas.  Likewise, the 2008 State Board of Education will continue to dialogue issues that impact our students and our profession.

By attending a session of the Board, you will gain insight into one part of the educational decision-making process in Arizona.  The State Board of Education meets monthly at the Arizona Department of Education, 1535 W. Jefferson, Room 417, in Phoenix, with a normal start time of 9:00 a.m.  Visitors are welcome.  More information about the State Board of Education can be found at http://www.ade.state.az.us/stateboard/.
